History has showed that the floor can be pretty low for any program if it isn’t in the right hands. See Tennessee now... Bama, Florida, AU, LSU, Notre Dame, Michigan, Florida, Miami, USC.... we’ve all seen them succeed at the highest level and also have horrible seasons the last 30 years alone.
Now the ceiling is a different story. LSU has a significantly higher one than A&M. Not even in the same stratosphere. This is not a flame but a well documented fact. While A&M will spend the rest of eternity searching for the “right guy” LSU is having a third run at greatness with a 3rd completely different coaching staff and administration.

As an LSU fan, actually and honestly, nothing you said in that whole diatribe was incorrect.
However, I don't think any of the LSU trolling would exist if it wasn't for the way Aggies reacted to beating LSU. Commemorative cups and ring inscriptions to go along with obscure weirdness and general fagotry.
Aggies set themselves up for trolling better than any fan base I've ever seen.

There are two universities that compete for four and five-star talent in the state of Texas. The state of Texas has 28.7 million people.
That's a pool of over 14 million people per University.
The state of Louisiana has one University that pulls four and five-star Talent. The entire state has a population a 4.7 million people.
Texas A&M as over 3x the recruiting pool as does LSU. Also, more money than God for all the facilities they could possibly dream of.
Just consider this. Texas A&M essentially has the entire city of Houston to themselves. Houston metro area alone has a population of 7 million people. That's more than the entire state of Louisiana. By a lot.
