Not a single Aggie I know, including me, think that hiring Jimbo was a "mistake" or that he is a waste of the money at this point. In fact most in real life Aggies I know have said things like "I hope we don't frick up and fire him too early."

Could hiring him eventually be considered a mistake to Aggies? Sure maybe, but he has shown enough so far with recruiting that most Aggies I know aren't THAT upset about not immediately turning into Bama beaters in year two of his tenure. Its simply way too early to judge his career at A&M.

And frankly if we were upset about the whole Jimbo thing the last piece of it we would be upset about is the $75 million. No Aggie gets worked up about that, its simply not a lot of money to people west of the Sabine.

If he does prove to be a failure by say year four, a MUCH better piece of shite talk would be to say "poor Aggies, yall get a national title winning coach and he still can't make yall worth a shite." If LSU fans had any sense of how to actually troll people yall would build him up the next two years to prepare for that eventually talking point. Now yall ruined that, and we will just say "but you were calling him a waste of $75 million just two years ago."

And why are LSU fans doing such a terrible job trolling Aggies?

Because this whole LSU focus on Jimbo and him being a failure in just two years and him getting paid $75 million has 0% to do with effectively trolling Aggies. It has nothing to do with how to correctly dig the knife in to troll us.

The motivation for this talking point to all non-LSU fans is clear: some of yall were upset that LSU went cheap with a previous failure of a head coach last go round while the Aggies paid the price yall wouldn't pay for the guy that was your first choice and now that the cheap guy is working out yall want to flex on Aggies who actually stepped up and paid the price to get someone like Jimbo. But its way too early to call Jimbo a failure, and its way too early to gloat about LSU making a better choice when it went cheap with O instead of paying the money for Jimbo. Its not like O has beaten Bama or won a title yet.

All we know right now is that O's time at LSU won't be a complete failure, and for that I say congrats LSU fans.

Extrapolating any more than that just so yall can dunk on an empty court to feel better about yourselves is beneath what LSU fans should be and what our rivalry deserves.

tl:dr - Aggies don't think Jimbo is a failure yet and don't care about the money either way so LSU fans look insecure when that is all they focus on
