Jake Mangum is my favorite player in college baseball, including LSU players lol. Absolutely love the way he plays the game

Idk if I seen a player that goes down on one down and gets a hit as frequently as Mangum does. There isn't a way to pitch around him.

I’m happy for mangum. Grew up in Magee and rooted for John at Alabama. John was a stand up guy who came back and would come to the park when he was home. I’ve never met jake but can’t imagine anything but class. Congrats.

First off, you suck, bet welcher and secondly, I like Mnagum. LSU baseball fans have always given credit to outstanding players.

I'm not sure Furniss was better...Furniss was a better power hitter. However Furniss' game didn't transfer well to the pro game like I think Mangum's will. I think it is safe to say from an accomplishment standpoint that Furniss had a better college career while Mangum will likely have a better pro career.
