The only boring game was in '09 when Tebow was hurt and we totally pussed out not wanting to hurt him and their dirtbag white receiver pushed off in the endzone for the only td.

Few games scream SEC more than LSU - Florida. There is no love lost and the games reflect that.
I’d hate to lose it, but it seems like with every expansion we’re losing more and more of that which is quintessential and uniquely SEC.

The LSU-Florida rivalry is a true SEC tradition. Taking that away is sacrilege.

This is my biggest beef with realignment. The SEC is unique in that there are rivalries, as well as games that have morphed into such simply because of the magnitude. Nobody would say LSU-Georgia or Bama-Georgia is a rivalry. But those games have carried lots of weight lately, so it’s a rivalry for the time being. We’ve been through this before, and teams cycle on and off as far as being good, but you could always bank on these games adding to the rich history.
Florida is not LSU’s chief rival, and I hate losing to those bastards. That said, the game delivers. It’s fun. It’s had its moment as a huge game. It would be a shame to see a game like that disappear from being played annually.
I don’t want Texas and OU. I want my games in Athens, Knoxville, Auburn, etc.
