Joe Burrow is only a few years away from having the greatest season in college football history and in only his second year at Cincinnati is going to the super bowl. Sorry you don’t have anyone in the league you can be proud of of having so much success as a former player.

What kind of fan base doesn’t cheer for the guys who put in the blood, sweat and tears to win their school football games?
Isn’t the whole point of college football all and alleged connection with the team and player through your university?

And for the record I am an LSU fan, and while I hope former tigers do great after their college careers are over, I find the LSU fan obsession with former players a little strange.
The same LSU fans that will turn their backs on current players the first time they throw an incomplete pass, miss a tackle, not run for 20 yards a carry.....

And yes I posted a picture of burrow, but If you read the quote from 2013, you’d understand the context was about how sometimes even the most talented people need to ask for help.
