LSU fans - would you switch QB's with Bama?

I know most of us have a good feeling or are at least exited to see Mett and at the same time most don't think AJ is the second coming of Montana. However, AJ is at least proven as "serviceable" and a gamer. Considering LSU's excellent defense, special teams and running game would you trade Mett's potential for the known of AJ?

Good question. I prob would bc of what you mentioned - LSU just needs a servicable QB to be successful.
Now if I were building a team from scratch and wanted to maximize the potential of my passing offense, I'd probably go with Mett bc IMO he has more physical potential, although he has yet to prove he can handle the pressure like AJ has.

Not an LSU fan. But if I was...I would stick with Mett. I know he hasnt seen the field but for some reason I like him better as a QB.

I dont see the hype about Mett. He just doesnt stand out to me. Maybe he will prove me wrong but I just dont see him being a big time QB.

this is a great question. If I were an LSU fan I would trade him without of a doubt. Thats just MO.

Fair enough. I also believe Mett has more potential, but with the team LSU has coming back I would go with the above-average sure thing (AJ).

Can I see 3-4 games then make the decision?
I think Mett will be as good as Mauck or Flynn.......and I sure hope he's better than both.
So, if pressed, I'd say Mett due to a higher ceiling.

I like QB's with atleast a little mobility and Mett has zero. Yeah I know. Peyton Manning and Tom Brady says hi. But its just what I like in a QB.

This is false...he CAN run just prefers not to. AJ doesn't either for that matter.

Thanks pivey - I tend to agree. If I was a fringe team I might choose Mett but LSU has so much coming back I would have to choose the proven QB.
