LSU was a play away from pulling even. They looked just as bad as A&M did. It’s not like that LSU is coming into this game miles ahead of A&M. It’s probably a pretty even matchup on paper. It’s just going to come down to which team makes less mistakes in the game than the other.

Reed can beat us by himself unless Baker has somehow figured out how to stop him.

The only way we stand a chance is if the OC lets Reed loose and stops forcing him to be a pocket passer. If Reed has success, this will inspire the defense.

Reed throws to a route. Not to receivers. Which is a problem. He doesn’t process where receivers are going and deliver accurate passes. However if receivers run extremely accurate routes he can be effective. But he needs to be able to run otherwise he’ll throw to routes that have no receivers. Which is what he frequently does when you stop him from running.

Yeah Elko was pissed, but he has to work what he has. He will probably get to work on the defensive lapses. Safeties specifically have to be better.
But the transfer portal OL aren’t all that great, at least not yet. They haven’t been inspiring confidence so far.
Maybe Kentucky is much better than advertised. We’ll see.
