It was a fricking horrible call because sometimes umpires want to make themselves part of the game. Judgement calls like that should obvious before you call it.

I can see why they called it. A late slide straight at the second baseman to the side of the bag.
But I can’t see LSU fans complaining about a call or the umpires. They would never do such a thing.

Please show me in the rule book where it says you need to slide into the center of the bag. All you have to do is slide into the bag. It wasn’t interference by a long shot.
