If LSU wins out and Alabama wins out. It is a Rematch! Brad Edwards (ESPN) just stated the case on a Birmingham radio station. Said Bama is just better than Oregon, Utah, Oklahoma.
He even stated if Baylor was undefeated at season end,, bama would still be a 14 point favorite over baylor in Vegas.. He said that it is the committee's job to get the 4 best teams in the playoff.

This! LSU's offense did whatever it wanted in that game. Bama was manufacturing points with trick plays, punt returns and bombs. We'll control that a lot better next time, and hang 52 on Bama. LSU 52-31 in the rematch against A2abama.
Also, a rematch against a team that's easy to beat is a lot better than having to play an unknown like Oregon or Utah.

Better and deserving are 2 different things.
