Does it accomplish anything other than making LSU feel a little bit better?
What Heisman voter goes, “Man, you know what, I was going to vote for Bo Nix but this billboard has changed my mind. I’m voting Daniels.”?

It's more of a marketing ploy than about actually affecting the Heisman race...

It does make more sense looking at it from the marketing LSU standpoint. That’s fair, if that’s what LSU is doing.

Yeah, it's for marketing and recruiting. They put a couple up in the hometown area of Bryce Underwood, 5-star QB recruit out of Michigan.

Keep in mind LSU also opens the 2024 season up in Vegas against USC then 2 games later have UCLA in BR.

Any player that has to have his fanbase politic as desperately as the LSU fanbase is politicking for Daniels, really doesn't deserve the award.
It's as if LSU, right there under the surface knows the guy's merits can't really stand on their own. He has to be pulled over the finish line.
Daniels won't win the Heisman, nor should he. He hasn't earned it.
These billboards though are interesting. The collective psychology behind it perpetuates LSU's ongoing, chronic victimhood. Once Daniels loses, they'll all get to claim what they really want. Persecution.
