I think LSU has the better defense. More depth. They both have issues in the secondary so there are points to be had for both teams.
48-34 type of game with LSU pulling away late.

63.5 is a lot. I would lean under also though both teams will have their moments. Maybe 31-27 or 35-28 type game.
I agree. I see it being close and the winning team scoring in the low 30s and the losing team in the mid to high 20s.

I can see both defenses still being fatigued by their games last week.
But we don't have any depth on defense. If LSU has quality depth, that'll be the difference.

In that type of game I tend to think it’s going to be a Harold Perkins play on one end and a Jayden Daniels play on the other that will seal it. We will have the best player on the field going both ways.

We have a couple of dudes who can spy Daniels this season: Suntaire Perkins and Khari Coleman. Our secondary isn’t terrible, nor is the pass rush. We got to Milroe four times last week and limited him to less than 30 rushing yards.
Our offensive line issues are well known. Our punter is hot dog shite and the kicker is inconsistent, although he can boot ‘em long (his 56 yarder earlier this year was the longest Reb FG since 1988).
I think it’s gonna be a tight one.

This will be LSU defense step up game, but will be gradual with OM scoring mostly 1Q maybe rip off another in the 3rd.
LSU 42
OM: 20.

If Ole Miss can get healthy on offense, they can win. Unfortunately they are unhealthy at the worst time they could be this season.

i mean we started the season unhealthy.
Priekshorn looks to have a huge potential. Bama game is a difficult one for him to be thrown into for his first game.

Okay, as long as he’s dropping passes into buckets like he’s been doing he doesn’t need to run. Spy away. This isn’t last years Jayden.

He was clearly still hurt too. Looked like he was running in concrete on that first pass. Think there's a reason they didn't go back to him outside of one more throw. But yeah, it'd be nice to have a healthy Prieskorn, Franklin, and Tre Harris.

I don't know what we do for conditioning, but we need to try something else.

Last year-
Jayden Daniels
21/28 247 yards, 2 TDs
121 yards rushing, 2TDs
LSU 45 Ole Miss 20
Overall, I'm thinking last year's Daniels did just fine. As you suggest, now that he's dropping dimes, his evolving skill set is making him much more effective and potent.

I remember this board telling me how Will Rogers was going to carve up our defense. Mississippi fans gonna Mississippi I guess.
