108 miles (google map it). It do drive 80 on the interstate.

you're not going to average 80 mph the entire 108 miles. Getting to Auburn without traffic in 1:45 is about normal, which is also what google maps says (since you brought it up)

You're right. Atlanta: America's Premier Tourist Destination*

Number three in the country:

The Most Visited Cities In The US
Rank City Number Of Visitors (Millions)
1 New York, New York 59.7
2 Chicago, Illinois 54.1
3 Atlanta, Georgia 51

You realize that is because of the airport, right?

Did the article exclude airport travelers? I didn't see that. Please quote it.

It did say that 51 million people come to Atlanta to see the Aquarium and Coke headquarters. Seems legit

Its the busiest airport IN THE WORLD.

1:30. If you drive under 75 on that stretch of interstate, your arse will be run over

Auburn just isn't an attractive location to visit comparatively.

This is coming from a State fan who willingly chooses to spend his weekends during the fall in the third-world country shithole dump that is Starkville.

And TBH, there are MUCH better places to go in NO than the French Quarter.

depends on how long it takes to get to 85. That could differ by 45 minutes depending on the time of day. That's also assuming you live in the hood of South ATL

No. I don't want to run into people like you in my usual hangouts. You pukers need to stay your asses on filthy Bourbon St. That's what it's there for.

Oh ok so you're just adding your opinion, cool. My opinion is that you're wrong. You may have a point on the airport but it's a matter of degree. I have no doubt that Atlanta gets more tourists than NO and is a more popular destination. Find an article that says otherwise...here's another one with ATL listed as higher than NO. LINK

There is a vocal portion of the larger national population that likes NO and likes to talk about liking NO. I'd say Atlanta is much more popular at a regional level and draws tourists that way.

can i start naming things within 1:45 radius of New Orleans since you have tap danced all the way here from this statement in defense of Auburn being in BFE (it is)

No one visits Auburn for any other reason other than attending school or a sporting event. It's a tiny town in rural Alabama. I don't know why on earth you would try to spin that. Same thing could be said about half the schools in this conference.

I literally never argued otherwise. Are you making up arguments? I just said Atlanta is where it is on that list because of the airport. People don't vacation in Atlanta. Its not New York, LA, or Chicago.

Of course it has more visitors than New Orleans. New Orleans is a tiny city with a shitty airport.

I'd say a very large portion of the people that visit Atlanta regionally are getting on a plane to somewhere else.
