The goal is to make it to Omaha right? That’s what the “blue bloods” say anyways. Well Tennessee has been to Omaha 2 of the last 3 years.
Vitello took over a team that won 7 SEC games 2017. And in 2019 he had that team in a regional. Then 2020 gets canceled due to Covid, but that team started of 15-2 and was out most talented team he has had so far. Then 2021 he gets the team to Omaha. Say what you want, but he took a job no body wanted in 2018 and turned this team into a national contender in 3 years.

So going to Omaha 2 of the last 3 years is flopping right? NCAA baseball is the hardest national title to win of any sport and not even close. Hell the format to get to Omaha is the most difficult format of any other sport.
