That's how I've been thinking about it.

Wilson is a former top 10 pick who hasn't been BAD, just average.

We got a pick in return too, so I think it was a great trade. Wilson will almost certainly contribute more than anyone we would've got there.
I think Rattler will be moved for a pick but I mostly agree otherwise
Yeah, it's just what Ourlads put out.
If nothing else the Offense should be much improved.

By the time the season starts I expect Lance to be starting. Vele is much better as a specialist imo

We also have 2 great options to return kicks with Brown and Styles. Gonna be fun!

The New Orleans Saints class of 2026!

8 - WR Jordyn Tyson
42 - DT Christen Miller
73 - TE Oscar Delp
132 - OG Jeremiah Wright
136 - WR Bryce Lance
150 - Traded for Tyree Wilson (Raiders picked S Dalton Johnson)
172 - S Lorenzo Styles JR
190 - WR Barion Brown
219 - CB TJ Hall (Acquired pick in the Wilson trade)

7th round isn't over but there are several intriguing guys that haven't got picked. UDFA class could have some potential

Raiders trade is now complete

Saints get:

EDGE Tyree Wilson, CB TJ Hall

Raiders get:

Safety Dalton Johnson
Nice pick. Only reason he fell this far is probably his speed, he ran a 4.59 40.

Yeah, but as far as talent goes I think he's better than a lot of the LB options here late

As much as I like perk as an LSU fan, the LB we need to take in the 7th is Bama's Deontae Lawson. I have no idea how he's still available
The WR depth chart pre draft had Devaughn Vele at WR2 and Mason Tipton as WR3...

I'd say we needed some guys. The rest of the roster looked like a practice squad

Oh yeah, the 5th round produces a lot of gems

But I think Wilson is better than anyone we would've gotten at that position specifically. The EDGE class was pretty much gone

You traded a 5th round pick for a former top 10 pick (whos had some production, but is more of a run stopper. Still has his option if we want it) and a 7th rounder

Wilson may never be what ppl thought he'd be, but he fills a need and is better than pretty much anyone we would've picked there.

This was a great trade

Few good corners available with Abney, Will Lee, and Chandler Rivers

Solid WR option with Bryce Lance as well

Pass rushers are pretty limited from here on out
Was a need, but curious about the pick because of the talent available.

Tells me they have a really high grade on him to pass on Terrell, Cisse, McNeil Warren, Young, etc
May be in the minority, but I loved the pick and every time I hear him talk I love it more. Maybe I'm going to eat crow in a few years, but I have a feeling that he's going to be really good. Love his attitude, can't wait to see him on the field!
