re: LSU vs Ole Miss side by side

We're 8th in the country with 5 officially recognized titles

We're 13th in claimed. We only claim 4/5 of our recognized titles

The discrepancy is due to schools like Auburn claiming 9 titles when in reality they only have 2 recognized.

Something else on this, once you take Lane Kiffin's tenure out their win percentage decreases from .557 to .545

Not a loss at all though if you ask them

Exactly. We were largely irrelevant for like 15 years

And we're still that much better than Ole Miss. The sooner they realize that the better

They're quiet because they did nothing but regress

LSU is a 2 score favorite for a reason
Mix of record, conference, and postseason teams.

Most of these games are against power conference (sunbelt included) teams who either A, made the postseason or B, finished near the top of their conference
For sure. Like this position class way more than last year, but the pitching is going to decide how good this team is

Baseball Transfer stats vs good teams

Landon Hood: N/A (Gonzaga didn't play much comp but he DID go 3 scoreless against OU)

Dawson Park (17 games): .323 AVG, 4 HR, 17 RBI (TX State took him off the roster, so K and BB aren't available)

Bino Watters (22 games): .475 AVG, 5 HR, 15 RBI, 10 BB, 14 K

Cade Kurland (32 games): .271 AVG, 6 HR, 19 RBI, 17 BB, 25 K

Jason Wachs (11 games): .447 AVG, 1 HR, 12 RBI, 6 BB, 6 K

Several of the guys we got last year had serious red flags when you looked at them like this, so these stats are very refreshing! :geauxtigers:
That's how I've been thinking about it.

Wilson is a former top 10 pick who hasn't been BAD, just average.

We got a pick in return too, so I think it was a great trade. Wilson will almost certainly contribute more than anyone we would've got there.
I think Rattler will be moved for a pick but I mostly agree otherwise
Yeah, it's just what Ourlads put out.
If nothing else the Offense should be much improved.

By the time the season starts I expect Lance to be starting. Vele is much better as a specialist imo

We also have 2 great options to return kicks with Brown and Styles. Gonna be fun!

The New Orleans Saints class of 2026!

8 - WR Jordyn Tyson
42 - DT Christen Miller
73 - TE Oscar Delp
132 - OG Jeremiah Wright
136 - WR Bryce Lance
150 - Traded for Tyree Wilson (Raiders picked S Dalton Johnson)
172 - S Lorenzo Styles JR
190 - WR Barion Brown
219 - CB TJ Hall (Acquired pick in the Wilson trade)

7th round isn't over but there are several intriguing guys that haven't got picked. UDFA class could have some potential

Raiders trade is now complete

Saints get:

EDGE Tyree Wilson, CB TJ Hall

Raiders get:

Safety Dalton Johnson
Nice pick. Only reason he fell this far is probably his speed, he ran a 4.59 40.
