Based on CDC homicide mortality data from 2024 and trends over the past couple of years, the states with the highest murder/homicide rates per capita have generally been:

Mississippi
Louisiana
Alabama
New Mexico
Missouri
Tennessee
Arkansas
South Carolina

If you look at raw total murders instead of rates per 100,000 people, the largest states naturally lead because of population size:

California
Texas
Florida
Illinois

Alabama is ranked 3rd according to the above list so not sure if I'd be trolling Louisiana about being 2nd.

What is wrong Sidewalk? You are acting especially vile lately. What is going on? Did your mom buy the wrong frozen lasagne again?

So have you.

So very little self awareness.
