If it makes you feel better, maybe. He isn't a bad coach. But that wasn't your point in your previous post.

Lol, the guy was a legend and he won a NC in 88 with Notre Dame. So yeah, he was an excellent HC.
Funny how that same metric doesn't work for Drumphbo or Eaux.

Lou won the last title at Notre Dame. I have nothing against Kelly but he should have won one at Notre Dame as well.

Holtz is the only college football coach to lead six different programs to bowl games and the only coach to guide four different programs to the final top 20 rankings.
He’s in the CFB Hall of Fame. Some of you would do well to learn about what happened before you were born, you are dumb as a box of hammers.

He is also part of the biggest bowl upset in CFB history.

I read it out loud in my Lou Holtz voice and had to clean the spit off my monitor.

So the same can be said of Miles and Orgeron. Right?

But the other thing that bothered me about him… he never talked about Notre Dame and what really made it great. To be part of Notre Dame you have to talk about the Lady on the Dome, you’ve got to feel the spirit of Notre Dame, you just gotta to be a part of it. It’s just something you feel an awesome responsibility to the Notre Dame fans but to Notre Dame itself and that never materialized. He left the program in much better shape than when he first arrived but to go somewhere for money, I just don’t think that’s the right reason.”

Lou is a Hall of Fame coach.
Miles nor Ed nor Kelly are.
Sorry football started before Saban arrived. Do some research

No disrespect to Holtz. I remember when he won the MNC against Major Harris' Mountaineers. I do think Kelly is gonna do far better than Holtz in the SEC though. Geaux Tigers!

So Lou implies it wasn’t a good fit at ND then criticizes Kelly for leaving. Stupid media takes are making them look foolish.

All of a sudden Holtz thinks he a mediocre coach? What suddenly changed? Geez

I bet Lou was spitting all over the poor soul that interviewed him.

Have both of them won 250 games?
