Everyone loses. It is a constant in life and sports.

Many of us were hurt a bit when UA lost to AU, but the humility did us good. You learn more about yourself when you lose than when you win - what kind of person you are and how you respond to it. I've had to teach my kids this many times after they lost big games . . . and it is tough each time. I think losing is not such a bad thing for this Alabama team and for many Bama fans. Hopefully we come back and win here, but if we don't, it is not the end, and one can learn from it.

And it is bound to happen sooner or later. To be honest, the success Bama has had over the last few years is far, far, far, far greater than any loses, to any team. I think people expect a meltdown, but I feel relief. Nothing last forever.

If we lose it will suck but we could always be LSU fans and little brothers.
