Why do you think the dirt burglars are so anxious to get here?
So they can grift and steal more dirt without providing any value???

Buying the shiniest new toy does not make you a winner. There are plenty rich douche-bag, overcompensating midgets out there that still can't get a date to the dance.

10th in the SEC is pretty much where State has always been. You can expect State to be in the 9-12 range every year.
Yeah, that is a horrible way to look at it.
You can say that's where you recruit within the sec, but that does not mean non SEC schools will not out SPEND you.
In other words, you can be 10th in the SEC and still be below 50th in the nation.
I believe you are around that 22 to 25 range nationally. You will see that drop.

I agree. They are taking away the fan base in many ways.
Im pushing 40. And college football has been my #1 thing (outside of family) i doubt ill ever quit watching. But the excitement factor has definitely been diminished over recent yrs. The playoffs were the first domino, i hate it, it sucks, it took away from bowl selection excitement, took away from regular season excitement, and further expansion will make it even worse. Now with NIL and transfers, its basically free agency. The kids will become bigger than the program, their already large egos will become bigger than life, because who can tell them what to do, theyl be making more than their coordinators. It is just a snowball heading for hell. For the first time in my life last yr, nfl was more enjoyable. Its always been a better product of football, but didnt bring that atmosphere of a college football game.. which also reminds me, all these (neutral site) games SUCK arse. I was browsing schedules for week 1 n saw lsu/fsu n was like dam thatl be fun. Then saw in superdome, immediately took excitement away. Game would be much more exciting in baton rouge. Who wants to play a game at a neutral site in the season n take away both home fan bases

Any SEC team has money. Some have more, but there are no poor teams in this conference. Why do you think the dirt burglars are so anxious to get here?

It’s July
And you conveniently forgot that they’ve finished in the top 25 since Drinkwitz became the HC.

You mean 5/8?
OM is recruiting just fine.
I don’t think anyone ever thought Leach would be a great recruiter.
There is plenty of talent in the state of MS though

Vanderbilt, Mizzou and one of the Mississippi schools need to be kicked out of the SEC. they are leaches
You do realize that to make that happen there would be an unprecedented buyout and more than likely yearly alimony. That could be your ultimate backfire by giving a "poor" school a whole lot of money.

No worries. We have been poor since 1933 but we have been competitive across the board for the most part and in the present day we are holding our own. Each school has won a Natty in a major sport in the last year. So I don’t think we are going anywhere.
Your football team is below .500 historically.

Sure hope the BIG conference doesn't try and pull the MS combo anyway from us like they did with UCLA and USC from the PAC12 - that Jackson metro is huge for TV $

Speaking of which, did anyone check to see if OU was actually invited? Or did they just show up and claim it?
