Would have been great to see him play for a good college program. He might have a couple of national titles.

He's been inches away from his first passing TD twice tonight. Hopefully he gets it in the game. Looks sharp.

I think he's a good representation for state. Good dude, and I'm glad he's having success!

Probably would have been made a DB to be honest.

This is true for literally everyone who goes to a lower tier program

I dunno. If he'd gone to Alabama he'd have a college title, an embarrassing set of tattoos, and a few snaps in an NFL preseason game.

I think he's ok with being a God at MSU and having a long career in the NFL with some decent earning potential.

I know you're trolling but Dak went to the perfect place for him, he got very good coaching and it's paid dividends.

Right now it's looking like he will have a very prosperous career in the league.

I seriously don't know. Who else has Mullen developed that is a starter in the NFL?

Or he could have gone to aTm and become a drug addled alcoholic bum.

We've had passing success with McElroy, McCarron, Sims, and Coker. Really great success in fact. That includes one of the best passers in the country, All-SEC, NFL player, and a Heisman runner up. None of them nearly as talented as Dak. Retard

fricking Gumps are so stupid. The only offer he had to play QB was from Ms State. The rest of the coaches in the SEC were too stupid to recruit him. That includes the Lord Saban.

ETA: You can also add Phillip Rivers to that list of misses. I think Bama recruited him as a DB.

Hey I acknowledge this. Some bama fans though seem to think that the end all be all for players is a national title in college.

That's the guy who peaked in high school, just sayin. Many players want more than a college title that doesn't do anything but give them a ring to pawn later and a warm and fuzzy feeling. Bama is a great choice, but respect they guys who don't have the same priorities as the OP.

How am I stupid because I don't remember the recruitment of Dak Prescott? I wasn't even talking about Bama as where he should have gone. I would have liked to see him at any of the top programs.

Luckily most of them either value Natty's or Bama has something else great going for it, as evidenced by a million straight number 1 classes and five stars at every position

The talent evaluators at the "top programs" missed on Prescott. It's a fallacy that to make it to the NFL, you have to go to a big time program. Look at an NFL roster one day. They find guys from everywhere.

Alex Smith, he also coached Cam Newton for a short period before he was kicked off of the Florida team.
