Nice try but that's not how vacated wins work. It isn't a forfeit, it's just like the game was never played.
Again, this is only partially true. They don't get credit for the win but you're still stuck with the loss.
Since someone downvoted my other post addressing this, I can only assume they think I'm wrong so here are some references.

NCAA policies manual. You'll find the relevant text on pages 26-27, where it says "The won-lost records for each of the opposing teams are not changed when games are vacated".

Oh wow, you got me good. I'm so rustled. I so clicked on a LSU basketball thread, only to see you bringing up Ole Miss yet again. It's like you have a one-track mind. You're probably not very smart. Tennessee fan- that's normal though I guess.
Just how many fat, poor, stupid rascists has your hillbilly arse shot in a barrel?
And for the record, I have a BMI of around 20. I'm not poor, nor stupid, and I'm a black guy.. So yeah, you nailed it. You got me good.

They didn't suck. Don't let the SEC Rant distort reality. They were picked 4th in the SEC and actually exceeded expectations by finishing in a tie for 3rd. They underachieved by not making the NCAA Tournament. They missed out on the tournament because of the OOC losses early in the year without 2 starters and a core of freshmen.
The truth above doesn't change my belief that the team lacked chemistry, that Simmons could have lessened his negative impact on the team and that the team severely lacked quality coaching and leadership.

Louisville is still waiting on the NCAA to deal with North Carolina, so I guess y'all are waiting on Louisville.

Yeah but you had to turn into a rabbit to keep from getting fat. Perhaps you could start a Bama fatty charity and teach AL residents what a salad looks like.

went nowhere this year so the NCAA should just let it go.
"That's not how it works," says every Missouri fan.

Bro, if you think the SEC is scared of LSU basketball, then you haven't seen who is on the sideline leading the program.
What a cluster frick of a mess. And no, LSU did not come close of meeting expectations...and it is obvious the team as a whole did not like Simmons.

Well said. He was a me first guy who didn't make the team better. I actually feel bad for Jones more than I blame him for LSU being as bad as they were.

His sister was also hired to that same company in 2014. I don't know what the rules are on that but it seems like this has to perk the NCAA ears up a little bit, no?
Can't deal with an agent prior to declaring. Period. All games are vacated that said player participated in. Even meeting with an agent is prohibited. This would be probation city. If LSU is still currently on probation it would fall under repeat offender status also.

However, the NCAA cannot say his sister cannot go work for a company.

LSU beat Kentucky by 18 points with Johnny Jones and Ben Simmons. You are afraid of what LSU is capable of without those guys holding the program back.

Every single bit of this is wrong. You have to work hard to be this wrong on so many fronts. There is nothing against the rules about talking to an agent. He can't accept gifts or negotiate, and the verbal negotiation part is incredibly hard to prove (it's done by every single one and done every year). The only reason this is news is because the author asserts there was an agreement in place, and the fact that this hasn't blown up yet makes me think it's because he's just assuming that. Also, in cases like this the NCAA has shown no teeth in going after the school, they usually just declare the kid ineligible.

True, but they can say that makes Ben ineligible. If not, then agents will just hire family members for the "wink wink pledge to use them when your turn pro" and funnel money to the player that way.
Think about it for football where players have to stay for 3 years. High profile players family members being hired by agents. What is an agent is also a booster of a school?
