Yes, A&M would beat Texas on a neutral field. Sips have one of the WORST secondaries in all of CFB this year - currently 124 out of 130 with OU coming up. Even Arkansas is better at playing defense

It doesn’t matter what any of us think, dstone.
Many opinions on the issue.
But the situation is well above our pay grade, as fans.
It’s going to come down to a simultaneous open OOC spot for both schools.
Which will eventually occur.

However, A&M will not play Texas any time soon. Why help out a Rival when they are down, and begging for a decent game?

Hint, it isn't going to happen

You wouldn’t be helping them IF you beat them like LSU did. But can you?

Kaiser says we don t want to help Texas.
Sarge says Texas is too scared to play ag.
Which is it?

We are about to reach another Disagreement.

Actually we would be, they are struggling with ticket sales and interest. LSU this year was the biggest game they’ve had at home in a long time and they will be hurting next year mightily

I don't think you know what "down" means...

We're doing just fine though. We were in some of the most watched games in college football last year, actually broke an NCAA record for most in attendance for a conference championship game, and seem to be selling out many of the places we attend.

So here's to hoping Texas is "down" for many more years to come

Christ!

When A+M and Misery joined the conference I read through a few of the Big Whatever conference forums just to see what the reactions were. It basically boiled down to Texas being nothing more than a parasitic media whore that was responsible for the conference rotting from the inside out. Nothing has changed

If you wish to leave the conference perhaps you could go Independent. You, Catholics, and the F-ing Mormons could fight with each other or…, maybe the PAC ?? and play ducks, beavers, and sea otters. Whatever the case, the SEC is the last place you would want to be. You would constantly have your asses kicked by teams like LSU. You can’t get the quality and quantity of talent needed to compete, plus no decent coach would want the job. Texas in the SEC, would be the perfect place for a coach to destroy his coaching career.

A+M and Misery have blended nicely into the SEC in my opinion, with one promptly competing for an SEC title right off the bat

frick-Off… and Go Away…… and take Arkansas with you (please)

Go back to 12 teams.

Nothing against Texas A&M or Texas, Missouri or anybody else.

14 teams is unwieldy. It takes too much time to play all the teams from the other division making it almost 2 conferences.
