Assuming both beat really bad teams this weekend....

How many yards does Florida need to hold Fournette to in order to realistically have a chance? 150? 200? How many times do they need to force Harris to beat their secondary? I don't see how they score more than 21-24 on LSU in any normal game scenario.

This obviously isn't factoring in weird shite like 5 turnovers or something.

OK. I'll play.

Keep LF under 175 with 2 TDs and we have a shot. If not, we don't. That's my opinion. I'll take my chances with Harris and those WRs. Single coverage all day.

under 150 and under 3 TDs would probably do it

UF has the kind of offense that gives LSU fits. a mobile qb who gets rid of the ball fast and dinks and dunks. Plus they work to get their receivers in space running full so they can catch a short pass and pick up big yardage after the catch.

Plus, Les does not stay aggressive if he has a lead. he just wants to win. 1 point is just fine with les.

Now, if Florida can't stop Fournette, and our receivers catch some of those passes from Harris, we could light it up just the same. but if we do, we will go soft on defense and let them dink and dunk their way up and down the field.

probably going to be close.

150ish would be ideal.

The key with Fournette is not allowing him to get going. Need to play LSU up around the LOS and get everyone to the ball. Then pray.

I don't think LSU has a very good chance to win that day. We lost Chavis, you know?

I agree with this, with the exception being if he gets over 200 but most of those coming on 2-3 big runs. If he has 35 carries for 200 yards, Florida simply won't get the ball enough to win most likely.

OK.

I can envision you looked like this when you typed that. "How dare a Gator prefer to want Harris to beat them instead of LF. That pisses me off."

I don't see why not, they have one of the best secondaries in CFB. They can afford one long passing TD before backing off.

Nobody is intimidated by LSUs passing offense.

The passing game hasn't been relevant in years against UF, and it won't be this year.

150 and 2 TDs and Florida is right in the game. If LSU doesn't mesh in the passing game it will be very very close. If Fournette runs over them like he did Auburn, rendering the pass null and void, the Heisman will be his to lose in November.
