The SEC has requirements for visitors' ticket allotments. I think it is 3K (of the total 6K) that must be in lower bowl from bottom up. I assume Texass will have to conform to that rule which will mess up their entire configuration.

Bama band didn’t go to Texas this year because band director wasn’t going to have the band sit up in the nose bleed section.
Next year, the Texas band will be given upper bowl tickets since they still won’t be officially in SEC!
