They have a solid nickname and unlike Auburn, it doesn't split time with other nicknames.

So far this season, in the SEC, let the record reflect:

Mizzou - 1
Intramural Squad - 0

Mizzou - 1
Cripples - 0

This week,

Mizzou - 0
Healthy SEC team with real defense - 1

How TF has Mizzou only played 2 conference games so far?

Mississippi State v2.0

Nice win vs Georgia. Your season starts this week. You have 2 games in a row against two teams who are still competing for the SEC championship. You still play Ole Miss and A&M.

I hope all these new Mizzou fans hang around.

We will haven't left in 2 years, think I can handle it. We haven't beat anyone, who has Florida beat?

Miami was a bad loss now it's looking, and Kentucky, Tennessee and arky could likely be teams 12-14 in the SEC this year. If you're gonna rate schedules, at least do it the other way as well

All trolling aside, the truth lies in the middle as usual.

MO hasn't beaten anyone of note except GA. GA was not close to full strength. That has to be recognized. The W in the record book looks great and there will be no asterisk but one has to thoughtfully recognize the circumstances of the game.

If we beat Bama in the SECCG and they were down a ton of injuries to key players I would enjoy the win but certainly would not be claiming we were the greatest team ever in any serious fashion. Did I mention I would enjoy the victory?

The truth is that many Tigers have gone all Arky over nothing of note really. Don't get me wrong, being 6 and 0 is a wonderful thing and how you got there in the end doesn't matter at the end of the day.

The other truth is that other fans see who MO has beaten, recognized the circumstances that helped to secure one of those wins and still comes away with doubt.

I'm not sure how that is hard to understand.

That's always the case though, if we beat Florida this weekend then you all will be a shite team that was decimated by injuries as well.

No, it started 7 weeks ago.

Oh, I get it. The win against Vandy didn't count because Vandy, and the win in Athens didn't count because they had injuries.

That logic is casty as frick.

We are a shite team on offense and we are decimated by injuries.

Is that not true? Is recognizing that a bad thing?

I have been saying, "this will be Missouri's first REAL test" since the game against Indiana. I said it when we played Vandy and again when we played Georgia. I will say it again.

The difference is, before the Indiana game it was a test to see if we could even have a winning season. Now it's a test to see if we can compete for the East.

You seem like someone that has never been punched squarely in the nose. It's really beneficial for some of our population. I hope you get to benefit soon.

You unserstand not what you read. The points are in there whether you want to address it or not. Reality and excuses. Your response was just another excuse. Reality is we're here whether you like it or not and more reality is we beat a damn good team injured or not. I don't see Georgia fans try to use the "injury" excuse. They expected to beat an inferior Mizzou squad. They didn't. It's the reality of how it is to this point.

Good luck to your Gators Saturday. If they loose, what excuse will be made? Terrible offense? Backup QB?

Remote, people shouldn't say your win doesn't count because obviously that silly.

It is OK to recognize special circumstances in games.

Take our Miami game for instance, we win that game if not for 6 turnovers. That' not making excuses that recognizing what happened. The other side that Miami should say is that they created 6 turnovers. That's also true.

For MO vs UG: UG has a much better shot at winning that game without ALL their injuries. MO should say we beat UG and be proud. Other fans will still have doubt because MO is new, hasn't beaten a big team at full strength. It's pretty simple.

Maybe MO beats UG at full strength because maybe those players all fumbled or had a bad day or MO played even better against them. We'll never know.

I think you guys don't like being told you haven't beat anyone even though you have a win over UG. Maybe it's all about how it's presented.

I still have my doubts about MO. Is that a terrible thing?

Don't go off the deep end. Our O is so bad our injuries shouldn't be used as an excuse.

Saying one of the reasons we lose a game is because of our bad O is not an excuse. It's a statement of fact.

Why so troubled by this?

Well telling someone to shut up on a thread in the interwebs shows toughness. I'm so impressed with these MO posters.

Correcting typos shows incredible knowledge as well, even more impressed. Wow, I bow down to the misery's posters greatness.

And we might be out two more key players on Saturday. Rumors are not pretty and I'm not very optimistic about Saturday. This is probably the worse player we could lose and close to the second. We shall see if they play or not.

And yes, if misery wins this, it will be qualified like the win over the mutts. You can start crying now.

Not the way I would have done it but I wasn't in charge. So, you just sort of have to deal with it. The thing with Arkansas and South Carolina back in the 90s, several SEC schools played them a good bit prior to their joining. Same with A&M with the last expansion. Missouri? I know Alabama played them a time or two back in the 70s and Ole Miss maybe a time or two but other than that; they just don't fit. But, apparently someone thought that someone in the St Louis market cares about Missouri. I could have thought of several teams that would have been a better fit but they can't bring the tv eyes because we are already there. So, I guess I will just deal with it.

For real? Florida and Mizzou both have major injuries! This game should be pretty evenly matched.

UF has more key injuries to my knowledge but that doesn't matter at this point.

Folks would be saying this about UK, Vandy, OM, MSU, etc. It's not a MO specific thing.

Bama would even recognize that beating an injury riddled team isn't a big deal.

I'm confused as to why this is upsetting for some of your fans.
