What is A&M's excuse for a century of mediocrity?

A biting taste of reality is realizing that you are in the state of Texas with ALL that talent and yet, you still get beat on the reg by little ole Arkansas. Poor Aggy...

I wish, we'd be pretty damn competitive in every sport.

And on the flip side of that, if we had the instate talent of Mississippi we would most likely be a top 15 football program since there would be no one to split the talent base.

But how many NC's in the last 20 years does UF, Miami and FSU have combined versus Texas, A&M and lets say Texas Tech.

To be fair the third Texas team in your comparison needs to be OU. Their whole program is built on stealing talent from Texas.

Dear Arkansas Fans,

We gave you (Arkansas) 20 years and they produced zilch.

The Aggies did as much (or more) in year 1....... so please allow them their chance without all the jealous hate.

I am too lazy to spit out the whole spiel today.

Suffice to say forced participation in ROTC sucked, no women sucked, the Big 12 TV pie split forced bad decisions and so we sucked.

We're in the smallest state in the SEC. We need everybody in this state pulling for the Razorbacks to give us a chance. For us, it's about providing the resources. We'll never have as much as Florida, Alabama or Texas A&M, but we're growing.

Hole. E. shite.

Sounds like you guys hired Houston Nutt as your AD

Why would an AD focus on the negatives like that...

Why not:

We may not have the biggest budget but our top notch facilities and ever growing fan support will always help us to compete at a high level in the greatest college athletics conference in the country. #WPS #RzrbckNation #TrackNatlChamps

I literally came up with that as I was typing... Please don't hire away Bjork when yall fire that clown.

All this talk about "texas talent", surely one of the teams from Texas has enough "texas talent" to make the field of 68 or do I need to wait until the CBI announces their bracket?

Or is "texas talent" over-rated and just not that good?

I don't care about all the Texas teams missing the tournament, just mine.

And I'm with you, its unacceptable. We're fugged if we don't fire Kennedy after this year, dude is a loser.

He won at Murray State.

Sounds like he isn't the problem, just no coach is able to win in aggy land.

Arky has good fan support and resources. What they don't have is IN-STATE TALENT.

I agree with this to a degree. We have in state talent, just not as much as a lot of other states in the SEC. That's just a fact & is logical, considering its population.

Arkansas is a truly miserable state.

Hardly. I don't believe we presently have, or ever will have a shithole the magnitude of Memphis. It is the epitome of misery.
