There doesn't need to be. Go and try to spit at something yourself, right there at home. It doesn't go very far. Unless you're in the front 2-3 rows, all you will do is hit the back of the heads of people in the stands in front of you. It would have to be pretty close down to the court for it to even matter, or be noticed.
Same thing with any racial epithets being shouted. Unlike with Missouri, South Carolina don't ban people of color from public sporting events, and there's a butt-load of African-Americans that attend our games.
And this is South Carolina, not Missouri: unfortunate to say, we kinda actually were the ones that invented slavery and racial prejudice in this country. So we have a lot of state citizens of color that won't just sit idly by at a public basketball game, and let others next to them shout out racial epithets at others. Even if its the other team.

If the idiot Sankey had acted responsibly in the first place and ordered the POS Mizzou AD to apologize publicly, none of this would have happened. He fined USC men's coach Frank Martin $25K immediately for criticizing officiating, but wouldn't fine Sterk for what he said about Coach Staley and the Gamecock fanbase? Looks like the SEC needs a new Commish....

Crybaby could have prevented all of this nonsense if she had simply let a sleeping dog lie, but she wasn't getting her way. So she had to fall to the ground and hold her breath.
The good thing here is that the vile Cock fanbase is now subject to SEC review. Hopefully some measures will be taken to ensure visitor safety. The next time Crybaby does her Tina Turner in thunder dome impersonation maybe these incidents can be avoided. Perhaps some cages for the foaming at the mouth lessers would be appropriate.
