In case you missed it Sparky, SEC is also opening investigation of USCe'e security program and player safety. Guess Tanner's so-called investigation of the incidents was not very persuasive at the conference office. Sankey made it clear in his statement today that the whole thing would have gone away but for Staley's lawsuit. I would rather pay a $25,000 chump change fine than have the conference opening an investigation of my school.

It took like 3 weeks and a lawsuit for the SEC to levy a fine against Mizzous AD.

I can flip that around on you; if something didn't happen why is the SEC opening an investigation? Sterk, Mizzou's radio crew and players heard the slurs and a player or former player reported the spitting according to reports. That, my friend, constitutes evidence warranting a hearing. As stated, folks on your end wouldn't let it die and so here we stand. Frankly, the whole situation speaks poorly for both schools and they would be better served by a mutual apology session.

No they haven't. Missouri's coach immediately after the game was even very complimentary of the environment in the Colonial Life Arena. You Missouri fans are a joke.
