He just wanted to bitch at Pruitt and Kirby because ever since they left him Alabama's defense has gone downward. He was fortunate to have two elite DC's that close together and yet he calls them ungrateful.
And while he might have a point about Kirby 'owing' him something (Pruitt had already earned his stripes as a DC) that debt was paid long ago by the job he did. Saban's just completely unwilling to admit that it's a two-way street. Kirby and Pruitt kept his defenses running like well oiled machines. Neither owe him shite.
