I know everyone likes to give Missouri shite but they did actually have a really good rivalry with Kansas. Expansion has destroyed so many great rivalries. Nebraska-Oklahoma is another.

Calling a conference the “little 12” when your team never won it, or even came close to winning it, is certainly a choice

No it didn’t, it just separated the greedy/cowardly from the men. Florida uga usce Kentucky all have 0 problems maintaining intraconference rivalries.

It was a shell of itself. OU was alone and dominant during that last decade. Let’s be serious.

yeah that's fair. No reason these teams couldn't have continued the rivalries out of conference.
...and before the ags chime in, yes I know it was mostly our fault we didn't continue when you left for the SEC. Deloss Dodds was an arrogant prick. Water is wet.

that may be true but it's also accurate that, in that time, they won more sec games than we won big 12 games and there's no excuse for that. Our program was an absolute disaster during most of those years.

The big 12 playoff rep from 15, 18, 19 was an absolute joke. Tcu the lone big 12 team to win a playoff is one of the worst teams to play in the 4 team playoff.

10. Missouri

Since joining the SEC without a traditional in-state “big brother” rivalry to fixate on, Missouri’s fanbase rarely hones in on one nemesis. Their lack of a dedicated adversary leaves little room for the type of obsessive behavior seen elsewhere.

This is pretty brutal. So, they are the little brother to the rest of the SEC?

You don’t have a winning record, in football, against Alabama this decade.

Oh look an LSU fan commenting on Tennessee and Alabama... shocking. I believe he meant cumulative across the big 3 sports as shown by him saying "Winning record across big 3 sports"

Big Surprise LSU fan commenting on something that doesn't concern them. Then the comments are wrong.

These were true rivalries as opposed to Big Bro-Little Bro situations.

Kansas-Missouri was almost even... and was probably the most under the radar rivalry in the country.

This despite the fact that the history of the genesis of the rivalry is by far the most incredible in college sports.

The one irony is that both Lawrence and Columbia were Yankee towns... but the fact that Missourians burned down Lawrence twice... and that Kansans fighting Missourians brought on the Cival war...

Nobody else has anything like that as a history.

Ohio State is 17-6 against Michigan this century. The Wolverines only had 2 wins against the Buckeyes, so they had to cheat to be competitive.

You know what real life usually finds? Not Chat GPT?

The people and fans that keep posting “little brother” threads are themselves the one with the complex and are poors.

Take some notes on how to handle Michigan:

The worst fanbase in the B1G vs the worst in the SEC.

To Michigan's credit, they would have beaten Georgia the past 2 seasons. The year they won the title and when they beat Alabama and Georgia could not.
