The "Camback" was more on the AU defense deciding to show up in the 2nd half.

My vote for an AU player is from the same season and same player:
Cam Newton vs LSU
200+ yards rushing while throwing for less than 100 on like 8 completions. Everyone in the stadium knew he was handing it off or keeping it himself. Still couldn't stop it.

Then he had his signature moment to cement the Heisman in late October. The extra gear when he spots PP7 is amazing.

Chuck Webb 1990 cotton bowl vs Arkansas

No doubt about Webb. I was there. We couldn’t stop him. I think Pickens had a good game too.

I liked the “Cobbwebb”. Whatever happens to Cobb at Tennessee?

How old are you?

David Palmer’s Ole Miss game in 1993 was amazing. He had 243 all-purpose yards as a kick returner, punt returner, wide out (obviously), and a running QB (with a 54 yard pass) after Jay Barker got hurt.

That was a complete takeover of a game.

Mark Ingram vs South Carolina in 2009. Was the best QB we had that night.

This game won him the Heisman. He totally put the team on his back that night...my oldest's first Bama game.

He was kicked off the team after four games in 1989 after he failed his fourth drug test. He had been suspended before spring practice earlier that year for failing a drug test.

KJ Costello threw for 18,000 yards in one game against LSU in Death Valley, then showed America he had a noodle arm the entire rest of the season.

Ga Techs QB was once UGAs player of the game if that counts.

Fairley and the rest of the defense made some seriously great plays in that game though.

T Bell slamming McElroy to the turf was my favorite play in that game.

Vince Young NCS Game against USC. He told the OC to go F himself, he as going to do it this way.

VY had so many games he took over, but that was his masterpiece. He was pissed because they gave the Heisman to Reggie Bush, and every sport media outlet talked trash the few weeks leading up to that game. He took it out on that USC team for sure...
