found this about Sewanee

quote:

Sewanee was also a charter member of the Southeastern Conference upon its formation in 1932. By this time, however, its athletic program had declined precipitously and Sewanee never won a conference football game in the eight years it was an SEC member. The Tigers were shut out 26 times in their 37 SEC games, and were outscored by a combined total of 1163–84.[33]

1. GTU - fricking nerds.

- Break -

2. TAMU - And I thought Clemson fans were a cult.

- Bigger break -

3. Mizzou - Still waiting for our AD to not renew the home and home thing we've been doing with them since 2012.

- Grand Canyon sized break -

No real hate towards The University of the South or Tulane, but I'll put Tulane above Sewanee just because my dentist when I was a kid was a Sewanee grad. I respect Sewanee for the southern college football history aspect.

Crazily enough, these are all schools I’d pull for at any time.

Georgia Tech
Missouri
Sewanee

Texas A&M

One of my dearest friends went to GA Tech (now works for Boeing); so I pull for them whenever I can.

Missouri is a fantastic university, and I’ll always be a huge fan.
My uncle was a professor there (geology) and recently passed from pancreatic cancer.
He donated his amazing collection of rocks, minerals, and core samples to Mizzou.

I used to attend a Christian camp at Sewanee when I was younger.
Beautiful place.

No ties to Tulane, but I have zero reason not to support ‘em.

And Texas A&M is where my physical body will spend eternity.

If I’m going to be honest, there are only 2-3 universities in the US I don’t care for.
But I try to overlook that.
