You have to go with Sewanee.

Look at that 1899 team. 12 wins. 11 were shutouts. 5 of those wins (Texas, A&M, Tulane, LSU, and Ole Miss) came during an astounding 6 day road trip where the team traveled 2500 miles. 11 of their games were conference games. They outscored their opposition 322 to 10.

Only one team on their schedule proved a serious threat to Sewanee, Auburn under head coach John Heisman lost by a single point 11-10.

Well Texas A&M and Missouri had the good sense to want to join the SEC so I'll give them that. If somebody wants to be part of your group you naturally feel friendlier to them. And all kidding aside I'm glad they joined. We didn't have any yell leaders or SJW types.

The other three schools dropped out so screw them and the horse they rode out on.

Well Sewanee probably rode out before the horse died. So not so much them. But GT and Tulane good riddance.

Dislike:

1. Georgia Tech- Bobby Dodd was a hypocrite who wouldn't play teams from MS but he played teams from AL for the same reason. Hes also the sole reason GT quit and pouted. As a result MSU never played GT as members. They didn't end up as bad as Tulane and Sewanee landing in the ACC but they have a comparable sized fanbase.

2. Tulane- they built an on campus stadium which means no more Superdome away games. Boooooo. Tulane is one of our most played opponents. Nothing against them other than that really.

3. Sewanee- They quit before anyone else. Plus imagine a scenario where teams like Alabama, Florida, Texas A&M, or LSU traveled to Sewannee TN for SEC Football. I mean you wanna talk about rural, I'm kinda jealous I don't get to see this alternative scenario.

Like:

1. Texas A&M- They gave us Jackie Sherrill and more times than not we handle them easily. Plus College Station is A Ok for me.

2. Missouri- wish we played more often. But since we're 1-0 against Mizzou and it was a Dak TNF showcase, 31-3 to be exact, I have fond memories of them. But I suppose we were the reason they went SJW since 3 days after that game, the football players joined the protest.

And yet High Point over in Monteagle might just become the best restaurant of any SEC location.
