Every fan base has their sidewalk fans, alters, etc. on this board but AU basketball fans are a special bunch of “irony.” A fan base that acts like their team is a blue blood, when they aren’t even considered a new blood yet by knowledgeable basketball fans.

Guess your list must include teams like South Florida, Samford, and other teams that haven’t beaten a top 25 team in over a month.
Basketball fans with clearly less knowledge than yourself would consider UNC, Houston, Iowa State the hottest teams in the country, but what do they know? Heck, even Oregon beat a top 10 recently and has a chance to play their way into the NCAAT.
Surely one of the “hottest teams in the country” who plays at noon today will easily make it to the 2nd weekend of the NCAAT, right?

Surely that #4 ranked team has beaten a top 25 NET team in the last 5 weeks, right? All the other top 10 teams on your list have, so surely AU has as well? No way they are 0-2 in the past 30+ days against top 25 teams…because “they’re one of the hottest teams in the country!” The facts must be wrong.
Note: Not sure pasting a ranking that has Bama 13 is a way to make a strong argument about the validity of the rankings. Might should have stopped at the top 10 and left us off.
