Well, he did out score Bama 34-17 after being down 28-0.

Bama did let their foot off the gas a little though.

Statistically he could be right, but you have to factor in bama basically running the clock out the entire second half.

Bama played to run clock mostly and OU never got closer than 11. We take a knee to end it at their 5.

They did outscore Bama after the first quarter? Bama was the better team.

Oklahoma's only real success came from Kyler Murray being the single most dynamic player on the field. He was running circles around people.

Alabama had success with running the ball, followed the RPO slant over and over and over, and Oklahoma just wasn't good enough to adjust and stop either one.

Sounds kind of like Georgia.

Bama only had the ball on 4 possessions in the second half.
One TD
One FG
One punt
One kneel down at the 5 yard line.

Not horrible, IMO.

Yeah, they started running the clock with 44 minutes to play. That makes sense.

Nailed it.

Only UGA and OU fans think the game's final score is irrelevant compared to the 2-3 quarters in which they outperformed Alabama. They believe they should be crowned for beating Alabama in a few quarters, and that anyone not taking that moral victory seriously is biased.

It's the kind of logic that habitual chokers use, so UGA and OU employing said logic is par for the course.

We ran the ball quite a bit Corndog, it's called winning playoff football. Something you know nothing about.

Those dominant Sooners averaged 49.5 PPG on the year..they got 34 here.

Those dominant Sooners averaged 578 YPG, they got 471 total so looking at that we didn't do too badly.

Lincoln Riley reminds me of that one out of place redneck friend in high school who would eat cheetos and then wipe the crust off his fingers on your dog.

Well, it didn't make much sense, at least not to me. I would have called it slightly more aggressively. But, then, I'm paid approximately $8.5 million fewer dollars than Saban to win playoff games, so there is that.

They clearly were running it for the last 30 minutes. Not sure how anyone that actually watched the game could even remotely attempt to argue that one.
