You can downplay what Freeze has done, and that's expected from an Alabama fan, but just remember, you guys needed a lot of luck to pull one out this season and that was against an Auburn team that didn't have half the talent.

Next season, Alabama will still have more talent but not by much. The reality is Auburn is going to be a major player in the SEC for as long as Freeze is there. Freeze isn't only flipping Alabama's best recruits, but he's doing the same to other Power 5 teams, along with hitting the transfer portal hard.

The SEC has been considered the best conference in college football for many years, and with the addition of Freeze, it's going to be even tougher. Auburn may not win the SEC next year, but they will play a role in who does take it all.

As an LSU fan, the past few years we could mark the Auburn game as a sure win, but that's not the case for any SEC team moving forward.

Freeze pulled a couple top 5 recruiting classes at ole miss and lost to Memphis with one of them and then went 5-7 after signing his 2nd top 5 class. Something about spending too much time with hookers was a bit of a problem for him.

A normal coach buying players

Being shady is a separate event that your coach has mastered

Also, Kirby didn’t act like a bitch to the media and never does

On average Hugh Freeze is an 8 & 4 coach. Can he get better and maybe become elite, absolutely but all the fear mongering I'm seeing over has become a little much. He will have the talent but now he's gotta coach it and prove it.
