That's pretty solid. What does Tennessee's perimeter look like?

Personally I just like that Cuonzo refused to go zone versus us.

Golden at point, who knows what we'll look like on the wing. We are going to Italy next week so we should know more after that.

We have McStache, McRae, and Richardson back who all started 10+ games on the wing for us last year. We also add Chievous, Reese, Edwards, and Moore. No idea how it will shake out.

We should be very good defensively at the 2 and 3, but only McRae is a scorer there. Golden is a good offensive point guard, but a little slow defensively.

I think this team is probably a one win team in the NCAAT. Around the 25-30th best team in the country. 5 or 6 seed.

We are pretty much the same team as last year, just a year older and a full year of Stokes.

I like Cuonzo but his refusal to zone us was horrible coaching.

USC STAA...I MEAN FUUUUUCKED!!
USC FUUUUUCKED!!

No but really we won't be any better than the past two years. We had a couple good players that transferred. Bruce Ellington, starting PG, will also be playing football again this fall, missing some of the season. No recruiting basically. We're a dumpster fire right now.
But the fans are really really excited about Frank Martin but we know it will take a couple years.

I think we are a darkhorse to make the tourney with more experience in anderson's 2nd year. This should be our lineup

PG: BJ Young
SG: Mardracus Wade
SF: Ky Madden (or alandise harris if he gets the waiver)
PF: Marshawn Powell
C: Hunter Mickelson

Key reserves: Rickey Scott, Coty Clark, Dee Wagner, Michael Qualls, JaCorey Williams

It'll be nice to have powell back for sure

hickey/collins/stringer
morgan/stringer/collins
coleman/hammink/ludwig
godfrey/courtney/ludwig
o'bryant/ late signee/ tuba

carmouche from memphis may end up at LSU. jones is also hopeful of adding another post player which we will need. carmouche could probably start at the 2 which would allow us to bring morgan off the bench. collins is a combo guard but probably better suited at the 1.

i don't expect too much but we should at least be fun to watch for the first time since 2006.

I've got UK, UF, Bama, Arky, Mizzou, and Tennessee making the tourney.

After those 6, I don't think any other SEC teams are even on the bubble.

I'm very curious as to what Frank Martin can do for USCe this season though.

Mizzou will be really good unless the SEC adds Norfolk State.

No idea what to expect. With Billy Gillispie and Mark Turgeon you kind of knew what you'd get and you knew you'd probably make the tourney.

I have no gauge on Billy Kennedy. Last year was just an odd year, and I feel badly for him, but I simply could not watch an A&M game without the urge of putting my remote through the TV.

Too many unknowns. New conference. Coach a lot of us aren't sure about, etc. Completely new look for our team as well as he got a few JUCOs and so forth to better fit his style.

Ole Miss will finish 5th or 6th in the SEC and miss the NCAA tournament by 1 or 2 games like always.

We will have a meltdown against a good team which will cost us getting into the tournament (Florida last year in which we blew a 16 point lead). Or Auburn 2 years ago when we blew a 20 point lead.

Repeat cycle until we get our new basketball arena built and AK can really recruit.

5th or 6th in a 14 team league means they're in now, you realize that right?

And I disagree with you on this. I think Ole Miss will be pretty good this year. We really started to click towards the end of the year once they got rid of Kendrick. We return 4 of our 5 starters from last year and had a good recruiting class. We should be a tough out.

We announced yesterday that we lost our starting point guard Jacoby Davis to an ACL tear during summer workouts. Ray had to come in late and land two point guards just so we could have a true point guard. Neither one looked like much of a prospect and now the better one is out for the year. If Rick Ray can pull any kind of bright spots from this season, I will have really high hopes for him. He has been recruiting totally different than Stansbury. It's pretty obvious to me that he isn't going to recruit Mississippi hard and instead will go after kids that actually have a high basketball IQ. He is in a different state or airport nearly everyday.

You'd be suprised what a good coach could do with less. Pearl's first year, I didn't think we'd win 10 games and they ended up a 2 seed with 8 scholarship players.

And we get 2 free wins over state this year. That's pretty nice.

Buckner is going to take over this year.

I’d probably rank them as…

1. Kentucky - Class of the league until some else proves otherwise
2. UF - Could drop to 3, as always hightly touted players all over the roster.
3. UT - Could move up to 2, between Maymon and stokes, we'll likely have the best front court in the league
4. Bama – I really have no idea why I have them here.
5. Mizzou - You lost essentially everyone…4 of your top 6 in minutes played, and honestly I feel like I probably have you too high.
6. Arkansas - a year under the belt for a what was a young and talented roster
7. Ole Miss - AK, underrated coach, I have them here but they'll vie for a tournament spot.

After this it gets tough

8. Vanderbilt - They lost essentially everyone as well, may be a dumb arse for underselling Stallings though. They’ll compete with everyone in the league.
9. A & M
10. Georgia
11. USC
12. LSU
13. Auburn
14. State
