Still not better than Jaylen Waddle as a return man. No one is.

I also guessed that Tennessee fans would be in this thread, just didn’t think it would be the first reply

Of course. You’d think they hung a banner with that win.

As for the OP, Bowden deserves all the accolades he gets. He’s been fantastic and has been outstanding in his growth off the field as well.

mean did literally every single qb and the walk on's get injured? Because while he made a valiant effort, Lynn Bowden made your offense completely 1 dimensionl.

Pretty sure all of the QBs on sxholly went down with injuries. But you want to play a walk on just because he happens to be labeled as a QB in the program? Over an amazing athlete who will touch the ball on every single play? Walk ons aren't very good usually. That's why they don't get scholarships. Dumb take.

I can't argue that point. Waddle is a beast as a return man! But Bowden can't be beat as all purpose. I've never seen anyone like him.

The main issue is that youre essentially telling the defense that youre running the ball every single time. i dont care how good of an athlete he is, eventually theyre going to figure out how to stop it, See the Tennessee game. Walk ons arent necessarily the best option, but a play action pass ran by a walk on qb atleast makes the defense be honest.

I think Stoops is very aware of the problems associated with playing how they were forced to this year, but given all 3 of their scholarship QBs were hurt and given they went 5-2 with Bowden playing QB, I think I'll go out on a limb and say they made the absolute best out of what they had.

Do you honestly think Stoops wouldn’t have started the one healthy walk on we had left if he was a better option that Bowden at QB?

He was a good enough athlete to go 5-2 as a starter and may have been 6-1 save your defense’s goal line stand. Your hot take is absolutely atrocious.

Jesus yall are really upset over this, nevermind youre right, I hope yall start a wide receiver at qb every single game for the rest of time.

We’re the one upset, yet you’re in here arguing against Bowden’s achievement when fans of multiple teams (not just Kentucky) disagrees with you.

He was also first team All-American and All-SEC. So I’m going to go out a limb and say your hot take is a bit silly.

Mad props to the prototype "team player", in a "gotta get mine" era for sports.

Will add...he will play in the Bowl game. Also, played through ankle injuries. Tough SOB...found a home in Lexington and has changed his life.

It is well deserved, but in my eyes Bowden deserved 2nd team. I just cant justify any world in which Waddle is not 1st team.
