Kid gave his everything to UK this year.

Mad props to the prototype "team player", in a "gotta get mine" era for sports.

Well deserved All American nod.

That is a huge embarrassment and a stain on an otherwise great year.

Anyone beaten by UTk or USCe ought be seriously embarrassed.

No doubt.

Like losing to Troy.

I mean, he did get stuck at the goal line vs tennessee. Its embarassing we had to do that in a college football game where the wide receiver was the starting quarterback. Its also very embarrassing your college football team had to start a wide receiver at qb.

Personally think Stoops did a great coaching job. Given the injuries his team had.

I mean did literally every single qb and the walk on's get injured? Because while he made a valiant effort, Lynn Bowden made your offense completely 1 dimensionl. If he had no other options i guess i can understand but opting to completely remove the passing attack, and youre opponent to know it is not a recipe for success at the college level

It’s embarrassing for Tennessee to get their arse kicked by the 5th option at QB who also was a WR.

Wilson tore his patella tendon

Smith had throwing shoulder tear and broken hand.

Schizo tore his ACL

So yes...Stoops had to go to Bowden as QB.

It may have been one dimensional but we still went 5-2 with him at starter. If it’s working don’t go away from it.

I also guessed that Tennessee fans would be in this thread, just didn’t think it would be the first reply

It's hard to say it was a failure because they did finish #1 nationally among all power 5 schools in rushing offense and averaged 353 yards per game on the ground with Bowden at QB (5-2 record after the backup went 0-3).

Lynn is just really fun to watch. Plus, he allowed the D to really come into its own.

I believe he went 5-2 as a starting QB. That's a better percentage than your team as a whole this year. I bet there isn't a WR on any other team in the SEC that could have pulled that off. Give the kid his props and quit being such a Sally.
