I do not really feel this is anything but his agent trying to get his client security and getting an extension from Florida.

Let's say it does happen though. Meyer would likely be the first phone call just like Texas. The question is. If we call, do you guys think Meyer comes back?

He has shown he loves Florida still, so he would likely at least sit down and have the conversation with us. I was shocked he did not go to Texas, maybe he really is done coaching..but coming back to UF and winning another title here would make him the best coach in our history at that point, and he may want to grab that honor. He is an egomaniac after all.

Probably not, but UF would still pull a good candidate

More likely you guys end up with Muschamp than Meyer if Mullen goes. Speaking of that - what the hell is it with UF coaches that have a last name starting with M?

Florida could get Napier to finally leave.

You all will probably be able to coax Bob Stoops out of retirement

Meyer to coach again is much more likely than Stoops. He also openly admits to loving Florida. Stoops does not. Zero chance on Stoops. Meyer the chances are better for us than at least any other college.

Meyer returning to the school he royally fricked up would be a disaster, but every SEC fan is down for it.

No way that dude goes back to coaching though. He’s a piece of shite, everyone knows it, and if he doesn’t win the whole world will turn on him.

Dan leaked this NFL stuff to make himself look better after his disastrous past week. He is not going anywhere anytime soon

But to answer your question. No. Not a chance Meyer even listens about the Florida job

Florida can do much better than Mullen. You should be happy if he leaves.

Kellen Moore is a much better hire if Florida ever get that chance to contact him about the Florida head coaching job.

He is a great deflector of what’s really going on. In the long run it will get him a bump in pay, and the Gators will get his and Granthams services for the near future.

Oh, and why would he be firing defensive staff members if he’s leaving in a week or two?

Mullen is not an NFL coach...a lotta coaches prefer college jobs. Mullen also has two school age children...the NFL is a grind with many late hours (and no job security) and no way he would leave, he is a family man.

Just because he posts flattering things on Twitter doesn't mean he would coach Florida again.

Is this a thing? Why would an NFL team hire him? Dallas maybe?
