Alabama, South Carolina and Ole Miss are better than the best team Texas has had in 20 years. 2 of those 3 beat UGA and USC would have been close…..all 3 or more deserving of a playoff berth than Baja Oklahoma

Beating the team's you're not supposed to lose to is part of the sport. Neither Bama nor Ole Miss took care of business in the games they should have won. Texas did.

Texas doesn’t belong. Elite defense for 30 minutes. Straight up mediocre for 30 minutes. Alabama, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, late season Florida, LSU and Missouri would be competitive against Texas. Best team they have had in 20+ years LOL

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the team they had 19 years ago that beat USC in the Rose Bowl was their best team, and the team that was runner up in 2009 was better. Just a guess though.
