That goes for every SEC town though.

As a QB or WR would you rather hand off and block or run/throw and catch?

He has won as much as anyone not named Bama in the last 3 years in the SEC.

That is your opinion that may or may not be shared by 18 year old kids.

That part won't help your argument.

And the part about getting to 6 wins doesn't do much for me either.

Robert wasn't going to play for a team that was in the cellar. Freeze showing that much improvement in year 1 showed that OM was on the rise. And that he wouldn't be the best player on a horrible team. OM at least being average during his football career was the last check box he needed to play with his brother to appease his Mom who only came into the country every once in a while. If you followed OM recruiting at all for the '13 class it was widely known.

Exactly. When everyone says Oxford is stuck in the '60's and racist to recruits then they actually show up and are superstars and dance with fine women and get treated like kings, it helps us. Once the negative recruiting is proven false, they start to ask why the other school was lying to them. But most of the time ti stops kids from ever reaching campus.

See my above post. Your skewed throught process that we are cheating is blocking you from seeing other logical explanations for things.

Well that and you had a player admit to taking money on national TV.

You just lost Millions of dollars and had your reputation drug through the mud on one of the most viewed events of the spring in your sport, but you aren't at least a little bit frazzled. Maybe you don't understand the question and before any follow up questions and verify and 100% check your answer to the question the press conference is over? I mean it is a bit of a stretch but it is in the realm of possibility. It's not like he was in the perfect state of mind.

"I'd have to say yeah"

Yeah, he was so confused by the question

Things that are possible:

Ole Miss has been successful landing the big time recruits they've gotten because they've played to their egos and questionable character traits through the party school reputation and emphasis on "all about me". This is what won these guys over. Possible, as evidenced by the fact they haven't been able to mold these guys into a consistent team oriented unit and remain focused enough to play for any kind of championship.

They've broken the rules but Freeze is clueless on this, as he is a country bumpkin who went from high school to the SEC in a short period of time and is just a good old boy. His inexperience is why they haven't been able to fit these piece parts together to build a championship machine. Possible.

Ole Miss and Oxford are both destination locations that offer a fun yet historical location to achieve excellence not only on the athletic field but in the classroom as well, which has struck a chord with the latest generation of highly ranked recruits. Unfortunately, the academic focus these kids possess results in them not being 100% devoted to football as with other SEC schools, therefore no championships to be had to date. This is the most probable scenario as I see it.

I shouldn't go down this hole but I'm bored.

Treadwells best friend from HS was on the team at OM. We got him for a visit. He fell in love with the offense (Moncreif) and Freeze. We go him.

Nkmedichie's brother was on the team. Mom lived in Africa. Wanted them to play together. Freeze getting OM to 6 wins in year 1 allowed Robert to actually give us a look.

Once word got out that we were getting the #1 player and #1 WR in the country people started to look into OM. We have a pretty good record for getting kids that make it for OV's in the spring. Tunsil was one of those.

Everything is explainable. But if you want to be ignorant and scream "Dem cheatin' Bears" then you can.

All you did was take the end result and made wild assumptions and excuses all the way back to the beginning.

Look no further than Occam's razor. What is more likely? Your explanation where you had to work backwards and piece every little event together to make it fit back to the beginning, or that some poor athletes were offered immediate compensation for playing football at Ole Miss? Tunsil admitted it after an extremely shady recruitment. Had that happened against Ole Miss and he flipped to say, Auburn, you would never let that go.

I was saying the same thing the first week in February 2013. Along with everyone else that followed OM recruiting cycle in 2012-2013. This isn't a look back and piecing things together. It is 100% the reasons OM was in the game and landed these recruits from people in the know.

OM just got an NOA from the NCAA for cheating. And to top that off, got exposed on national television by a player that was part of the cheating.

Maybe it's time you reassess who is ignorant in all of this

95% of the NOA is under the Nutt regime. Tunsil spent 7 games suspended for the loaner car.
