I’ve met him at a local bbq joint in Marietta and he was polite as could be. Idk how he is away from the field other than that interaction but he was a nice kid from the brief 2 min talk I had with him. And I fricking hate uga

LSUs nose is really out of joint over this guy leaving their team. It is obviously a huge blow to their team and their schools ego. He must be really really good to cause this much chest beating.

I’ll take him. I believe in second chances and he will get a chance to start over. And He must be an incredible player to have caused LSU to go totally insane over his exit.

It’s obvious you get your jollies trolling LSU fans and want everyone to be melting about Gilbert but the simple fact is the VAST majority of LSU fans are happy that he’s gone and now he can be someone else’s problem. The kid is batshit crazy so I would hold off on securing your national championship tickets for now. He’s got to be eligible first to even play and even if he does get cleared what happens when he gets bored or hit too hard and wants his mommy to come bring him home? Seriously I’m happy for all Georgia fans right now!
