Let’s bring him back to SEC, who needs a Calzone?

Actually, very impressive stats this year tbh. Wonder if he’ll end up back on a P4 school. Calzada always had a cannon of an arm, he just needed touch.

This is the guy who beat Alabama. Of course he's going to put up good numbers at UIW, but I don't think he has what it takes to be a successful QB at the B/A+ tier level.

I saw his presser from last week, he was very emotional. Apparently, his shoulder injury was really bad, and after Auburn, he basically quit football, was working a regular job, but then Incarnate Word took a shot on him. Wish him the best.

Gotta respect UIW for that.

Is Conner McQueen still the OC there?

Yes, and Kenny Trill was his QB coach.

He should stay there.

Saw that presser as well. I get doing what’s best for yourself, but seems to make his words a bit hollow if he’s about to move on from the team that gave him a second chance.

So strange seeing all these former aggy QBs transfer to other schools and succeed.

Now the former starting 5 star at aggy is transferring out this season.

You see the pattern....he is destined to succeed at U of H.

Really weird to see this. I bet Elko does a better job handling these players moving forward though.

He's obviously not going to Alabama, but it's weird to me that it's even remotely possible for a QB who beat Alabama with 1 team, and also played for Auburn could possibly transfer to also play at Alabama.

I mean he's better than anyone A&M has on the team right now

If I'm a coach, I let the QBs prove who is going to be good and just go get one from the portal.

A lot of people forget he was a mid range 4* recruit. If I recall correctly, Kirby tried to steal him the week of signing day. We had depth issues with Mond leaving, and luckily he got onboard. I wonder what have happened to him if he would have flipped to Georgia.
