The ACC is boring.
You guys need another quality school that ranks in the Top-20 World Universities, and we could add a huge addition in terms of baseball, golf and volleyball.

Clemson doesn't have the proper mix of academics and athletics in relation to the Ramblin' Wreck.

Your high school stadium only seats more than Vandy. Missouri and Kentucky can fit more.

I’d be in favor of adding Clemson/GT

Georgia Tech is honestly not great.
It's like Duke and Notre Dame at this point. Everyone says "oh, that's a great school", but when you meet people that graduated from one of these schools recently, you find they are really not that sharp. I will say Georgia Tech has impressive professors and research. Undergrad students? Not so much.

GT would add ZERO $$$ to the SEC. SEC expansion is ONLY about increasing revenues. The SEC already has the state of Georgia. IF (and it is a big IF) the SEC were to expand, it would need to be to a populous state like North Carolina or Virginia. That would add $$$ to SEC coffers but adding GT or Texas, or F$U, or Clemson, would not.

I might be disagreeing with almost all of the other Georgia fans, but I would love to see it. Tech has traditional rivalries with Auburn, Alabama, and Tennessee, and of course still plays Georgia every year.
ETA: Although I recognize its impracticality when you consider that Tech hasn't been consistently competitive nationally in football for years and the Atlanta market is more of a UGA market than a GT market anyway.
