Let me see if I have this right about Alabama

Last season they are juggernauts. Beating good teams, dominating many, swept aside the cupcakes, get into the playoffs, take care of Oklahoma, they are going to go down as maybe the greatest Alabama team of all time and definitely top 5 greatest college teams of all time.
Nick Saban the greatest coach in college football, preaching process and focus and finishing. Heading into the national championship game to cement their legacy and then......all of a sudden......they got distracted.

Obsessed with watching you guys getting totally dominated and thoroughly embarrassed on the national stage for the national title. The worst beat down of a supposed team and coaching staff of that caliber of all time!
Nothing will top that, ever! Even the Giants over the undefeated Patriots doesn’t come close to that utter cluster frick.
But you can take comfort in knowing that occurred because your team got ‘distracted.’

It took you six and a half months to figure that out?

They beat themselves.
It's the same as always. They are the best til they aren't and the players are the GOAT til their backups are starting.

Kind of like the Bama game in BR ? How did that work out for ya ?

Quite honestly, Saban has some of the blame for 44-16. He lost the motivation fight last year.
Bama spent all season beating the snot out of teams for a half, and throwing it into cruise control in the 2nd half. They got away with it against teams like LSU because there was no offensive threat, but it made for poor habits and for players to start coasting in games.
When they ran into a team they couldn't "shock and awe", it rattled them bigtime. I watched that game and never once thought Alabama was a lesser team... they moved at times like a dominant team. But when they couldn't jump ahead, and had to fight all game, they started to crack under pressure.
Not sure if that's going to give Saban the ammo he needs to crank the machine back up, or if it's a sign of players starting to ignore him.

That's about as unbiased and accurate post I've seen.

This may be the best post a LSU fan has presented to this board. Ever.

What’s Auburn’s excuse Rabern? Why the hell have they lost 25 games in 5 seasons?

Gonna hit 9 this year. They are chasing the Vols, may very well catch them. Imagine if Tennersee beats Bama before LSU does to break their streak of utter futility!
