He doesn’t

He cares about what it means to the hypothetical self governing SEC of the future

If you hire a guy who was insubordinate at his last job and he starts getting mouthy with you, what do you do? You can him or make him understand his reality has changed and it’s a different operating environment.

1. LSU has not filed suit against the SEC or NCAA. A very simple basic fact that so many here can’t seem to acknowledge

2. LSU is and has been following the rule. The players in question were not on the roster last week and after tonight cannot be placed on the roster in the future.

So, I will ask again: What rule has LSU violated?

Isn't the commissioners job to keep a unified front and now he is allowing consideration of kicking out a chartered member for not actually doing anything against league rules. Make it make sense? I'm really confused why this guy leads the SEC conference.

Simple. Nobody likes you. Your being asked to quit staring at women’s chests, take your drunk self and leave the premises.

Last week it was F the SEC and we do what we want, now it's...we didn't break any rules, why would they kick us out.

Now I understand. Kiffin mouthed off and we need a dictator who's willing to kick a founding member out of the conference to assert his supremacy, even if they didn't break a rule. And if we don't like a court ruling, we just circumvent the court. Like I said, 10 years.

So playing the victim and lying to your self.

Well that’s what fake victims typically do.

You sir are questionable and that response makes you more questionable. We are all now concerned and hope the cops don't have to be called for your questionable behavior.

I don’t care enough to argue semantics

But yeah, if conference autonomy is coming you can’t tolerate intentional stress testing of conference credibility by rabble rousers. That’s about the reality of it, sure.

Sankey works on behalf of the universities, he isn't doing this unilaterally.

I'm confused. Didn't they vote to grant him autonomous authority?

Hard to do when the schools vote 16-0 to prohibit something and one school tried to do it anyways

We're apparently in agreement about what Sankey represents. Where we differ is how that ends.

If that were true this board wouldn’t be spiraling right now and LSU would have plenty of leverage.

That was essentially the Louisiana AG’s concern: the SEC is forcing a Louisiana school to choose between following a newly adopted SEC rule, or a valid Louisiana court order, and now threatens conference expulsion because it forced LSU into a lose-lose situation.

1.There was a Louisiana state lawsuit filed to block the SEC from penalizing them for having pro players on their roster. After that the SEC filed a suit in Federal Court in AL to allow them to enforce its rules.

Asking about a rule is a bitch move at this point. You're looking for a way out to save face. Your stupid arse school let LK get yall in some shite and now you're realizing you will comply or get kicked out.

If you had some balls you wouldn't care about the rules...you'd still be saying F the SEC and Sankey

The NCAA did some stu0id shite with 5 to play 5 and that in turn led to the interpretation aspect. If this works shouldn't this. Sankey tried to play hard from the start and is not really justified in any argument. The players aren't rostered. And a half time comment leading to a vote to expell LSU is shortsighted but we'll see.
