Let me explain something to you Texas and OU fans about the SEC chant.

You don't chant "SEC-SEC-SEC" at SEC games, idiots. You chant "SEC-SEC-SEC" at bowl games after you beat the living hell out of a team that the media could't bring themselves to stop slobbering over all while writing off the SEC team that had "closer" games.
Example: In 2006 Ohio State beat Texas 24-7 and the Media acted like they were the second coming of '95 Nebraska and said Florida was lucky to be in the BCS championship game.
Result:
Florida 41
Ohio State 14
That was a prime example of the appropriate moment to chant "SEC-SEC-SEC."
If you roll into Baton Rouge yelling "SEC-SEC-SEC," the entire conference will laugh our asses off at you.

They probably won't get the chance to chant SEC SEC SEC. They barely win if favored with a big talent advantage. They almost never win if they are at a talent disadvantage or as an underdog.
It's just their soft nature.

We won’t chant it after post season or non conference matchups with other conferences. We will chant it in Norman when we shite all over you.

Never say never. Time changes all things. When the press constantly rakes the sooners over the coals for joining the frontrunners cause you couldn't beat them for the 100th time the fan base will assume the position. Conference pride is coming.

I’ve only ever hated TX and looked down on other conference members, this conference pride brotherhood bullshite makes no sense

You aren't going to have anything to do with it. It just happens. The SEC will emotionally bend and shape you until you look and talk like the rest of us. It's a cultural thing and your environment is about to do a 180.
