What does having "chest" mean anyway?

Did he mean to say balls?

It was a lead in to him talking about our QB recruit, Liggins, who Les likes to talk about having a big chest (Les's way of saying the kid is a big dude). It was said at a LSU recruiting pep rally event yesterday. Apprently ESPN got the vid and showed it this morning.

It's not that big of a deal. Kiel is a ND recruit so it really shouldn't matter if a coach of a different team talks crap about him.

It's good cannon fodder for anti-LSU peeps and anti-Les Miles peeps, but I think most people feel is a mole hill not a mountain.

Not as big of a deal as the more sensitive types will make of it, but certainly noteworthy. Kind of out of character for Les to call out a high school kid like that (actually can't think of many coaches who would do that). I know it was at an LSU function but this stuff always gets out. He should have kept that to himself. It just kind of comes across as desperation when looked at in the context of the past month or so, when in reality I don't think LSU has anything to worry about in terms of slipping off the elite pedestal anytime soon.

He also mentioned having to fight off 3rd person parties and how we will be more prepared if it happens again. Just what could he be referring too

I can understand how some people would take it the wrong way, but I think he was probably just trying to fire up some people who spent $1000 to $5000 for a table at the bayou bash.

I could give a shite what Kiel or his family thinks of it.

absolutely. the kid is an asshat that fricked Les and LSU. You lost a solid tackle prospect due to that kid. I think it would be better if coaches could talk a little shite about a kid who screws them over, like a long term commit that flips on signing day without any warning.

The Kiel kid is a major prick. Although, it makes Les look like a sore loser when it goes viral. I mean Gunner was the kid he wanted badly. As for Gunner's feelings and/or his family. Frick em'

It was kind of classless to call out a kid. I am not saying what Kiel did was any classier, but a head coach of a national power should be held to a higher standard than a kid who just graduated high school.

I like what les said. Is it really a problem to call out a kid who screwed him over and cost him another recruit? He's probably tired of these kids lying to him and wasting his time.

I'm happy coach miles spoke out.

Kiel was selfish. If distance was weighing you down then tell someone. He cost us Patrick Miller. Miller was set to enroll early at LSU, but we were only letting 6 enroll early. So we decided we preferred to have Kiel over Miller. Miller then enrolled at Auburn. He's got every right to voice his opinion. His 11th hour decision cost us 2 recruits.

One could also think his comments were directed at Torshiro Davis for his handling of the final days after being committed for a year.
