You understand that no one though JJ could throw the ball (including or shitty fans) after last week so they stacked the box right....it is called taking what you are given....as far as the penelties it is still light years away from what it was last year....
frick you I will root for who i want to I went to Tech but I was born with Tiger's pride..
If i would have seen the box stacked I would have done the same thing THROW the ball...
the conditins and the shitty breaks on special teams keep this game close not Miles....get your shite strait the coach is the easy target but if you take the time to dig in and understand fundementals it would give you the correct perspective.

I still admit we played like shite in some major areas. I think one thing we saw is Jefferson can throw the deep ball, Chad Jones can be an impact player, Russell Shepard is a gamer.
There is no doubt in my mind they have bigger packages with Sheperd. I definitely wouldn't show it off until atleast UGA.
TBH other areas of our game have looked good at different times. We also seem to be in the right places on defense we just need to execute. This team is not necessarily lacking in a bunch of areas they just need to put it together. If we have lost yet in this growing process there is really no harm done and people need to STFU.

You guys came a fashionable red count hair away from losing to fricking Mississippi State. You're VERY lucky.
Yeah...when Bama beat Mississippi State last year it snapped a two game losing streak to them...last time losing lost to them was '99...

Because I'm a fan of the game in general.
I love les miles. He's a class act, the kind of guy that I would like to drink a beer with.
He just isn't cut out for this job, and if you don't see that then you don't see it. This isn't a flame, this is what will happen at the end of the season. LSU will be better because of it, too.

He has done some really good shite at LSU.

If we go 9-3, he doesn't get fired.

I agree completely. He won a national championship. But he squandered one in 2006.
LSU should never lose 5 games in a season.

I really felt like it was a perfect storm against LSU last year. Some things were his fault(DCs), some weren't(RP), something were unexpected( the inexperienced secondary to suck so bad).

fundamentals...? fundamentals...? ur telling me we played fundamental football today
guess all those busted play for msu on our d was playing fundamental huh? hell our defense played good today but we didnt play fundamental. why do u think the misdirection and play action worked so well for them.
I know they stacked the box.....know what though sheppard was eating them up on it. Auburn ran for 390 yards on them, mostly out of the wildcat. we couldnt even run for 50 yards, but the few times we did run well was when we rant the wildcat....but screw it lets go away from that in the second half.
funny how for the last 2 years everybody has blamed the coaches. yet well coached teams like bama don't make those mistakes.
its all the players though...
and look before the season i would have been happy with loses to bama, uf and one out of au/ole miss/uga/ark
but at this point all those teams are better then us except ole miss.

Played 4 teams ranked in the top 10 on the road. Walking away 2-2 out of that guantlet is bout as much as you can ask for.

Florida lost 4 games with the Heisman Qb at the helm, we lost 5 with a redshirt freshman named Jarrett Lee. Its college football, anything can happen.

The coach SHOULD be able to recognize that we don't have an offensive line worth a crap( oh wait he said it was the best line we've ever had, wtf) and no blocking full back and defenses are playing 8-9 in the box and we still try and run between the tackles. We run the option to the SHORT side of the field, which is exactly what the defense is trying to force you to do. Sheppard is the only back gaining yards and he doesn't touch the ball in the red zone or the entire second half. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result. My ole grand dad used to say two cooks will spoil the pot. When I see Les with a play chart in his hands I have a good idea who is the problem. We should be running wide splits on the line(ala FLA last year) and running the zone read option with holiday and williams and finding a way to get sheppard more touches. If Les would just let crowton coach and get the frick out the way we would be a LOT better off.

Miles will NOT lose his job this year even if we lose 5 games. LSU just can't afford his buyout. It will probably take 3 years of mediocre play before they could even think about showing him the door.
After last year he learned from his mistake and hired a DC. He should be smart enough to back off and let Crowton do his job.

No matter what, Miles will not be fired this year. Now if things continue to slide next year will be make or break, but certainly it doesn't seem like he can even stack up to any other coach in the SEC. It's embarssing how we struggle and the other teams are putting the pedal to the metal. see UF, bama, auburn, UGA. I see all those teams performances and I'm frankly jealous and angry.

A third loss in a row to Arky would help fan the flames.
