He sorta kinda expressed interest on the Dan Patrick show a few weeks ago when asked about it. Do you think he will? I feel like if he did, he would be able to assemble a pretty good program with a fresh start. And personally, I really hope he does get to coach again. I liked him being a part of college football.

Here is my hypothetical best case scenario and some vindication for the Hat (LSU fans will probably not like outcome, so forewarning):
So, say that Texas gets impatient, decides to fire Charlie Strong in the not so far off future, and puts out a bid for Les Miles. Since Miles has actually expressed interest in coaching again in reality, let's then say, hypothetically, Les Miles accepts this bid. And for the sake of hypothetical, let's say he turns their program around drastically, gets them good enough to make it to the CFB playoffs (in Urban Meyer-esque fashion), and simultaneously syphons off recruits that might would have gone to LSU. Meanwhile, LSU still has Ed Orgeron or some other guy, but has perhaps 7-5 or 8-4 seasons on the regular.

Put the bong down dude. If he sucked with all of the talent he had at LSU what in the world makes you think this is even a possibility? Only way this could possibly happen is if he was struck by lightening and it turned him into some type of football savant due to brain injury!

He would be like Rainman of football!

He will have multiple choices from good programs. National championship coaches are in demand. If he takes one of the offers or retires or goes into broadcasting is completely up to him.

If he goes into broadcasting ESPN will have to use subtitles to plain what he was trying to say. No way he is made for tv.

I would take off to Wyoming, not a lot of people and plenty of game to hunt ??...this scenario is more likely

Les is gonna end up as a coordinator at some B10 team -- and probably not Michigan -- before he returns to the HC ranks.

Sorta kinda? Everything I've seen him in he has said he without a doubt wants to coach next year.

Miles goes to Kentucky as HC after this season and gets them a steady diet of 7-5, 8-4 years.

UK fans rejoice.
